The Club was founded in 1929 primarily to promote the pure breeding of the Abyssinian Cat. It was also one of the first members of the Governing Council of the Cat Fancy (GCCF)and therefore has a right in perpetuity to two delegates to represent the Club’s interests at Council meetings.
